I am excited to introduce myself as a children’s book author! I am originally from Houston, Texas and studied Early childhood Education at The University of Texas at Austin. I have a masters degree in education and I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Education. I have worked in education for 10+ years serving as a teacher and currently a school administrator. I have a strong passion for teaching kids life skills to help them grow up to be their best selves.

I never saw myself as a writer but always loved telling stories. One day, I finally decided to put pen to paper and create stories that blend my passion for working with children and my love for dogs together to create my first book, Buddy, Bentley, and Bailey’s Big-Hearted Adventures: The Playground.

This first book is the beginning of a series that is meant to target the challenges kids face in their early years, as they learn to navigate life, and experience the ups and downs of conflict and conflict resolutions. It's meant to portray a fun aspect so that kids can enjoy the stories, and relate to the message at the same time.

This has been an incredible journey and I have loved every step of the way. I want to encourage everyone to follow their dreams and passions because it is never too late to reach your goals.
